Liability Waiver & Release of Claims

By completing this booking, you acknowledge that you have voluntarily chosen to participate in a retreat organized by Julie Neis and Savor Paris Food Tours, LLC (DBA French Julie Travels and Paris Food Affair).

By booking, you agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk
You understand that the retreat may include physical activity (such as walking, stairs and swimming), transportation, outdoor excursions, and dining experiences. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation and accept full responsibility for your health, safety, and well-being during the retreat.

Release of Liability
You release and hold harmless Julie Neis, Savor Paris Food Tours, LLC, Paris Food Affair, French Julie Travels, and their partners, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, property damage, illness, accidents, delays, or other losses incurred during or arising from participation in the retreat. You understand that the Host is not liable for changes due to weather, force majeure, third-party services, or conditions beyond their control.

Medical Treatment Consent & Responsibility
You understand that the Host is not a licensed medical provider and does not provide medical care. You authorize the Host to obtain emergency medical care on your behalf if necessary and accept full responsibility for any related costs. You are responsible for informing the Host of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect your participation.

Third-Party Services Disclaimer
You acknowledge that certain retreat components may involve third-party services (including but not limited to transportation, accommodations, activities, and meals). The Host does not control or supervise these providers and is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages resulting from their actions or services.

Code of Conduct
You agree to conduct yourself respectfully toward fellow participants, the Host, retreat partners, and property throughout the duration of the retreat. The Host reserves the right to remove any participant from the retreat without refund for behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of local laws or retreat policies.

Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any disputes arising from this agreement or participation in the retreat shall be resolved in the appropriate court located in the State of Texas.

Acknowledgment
By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the terms and conditions stated above. Your booking constitutes your electronic acknowledgment and acceptance of this waiver and release.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

 All payments are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, your booking may be transferred to another participant, subject to written approval from the Host.

If the retreat must be cancelled or significantly modified by the Host due to circumstances beyond their control (such as force majeure, natural disaster, venue cancellation, or insufficient enrollment), participants will be offered the choice of applying their payment toward a future retreat or receiving a refund, less any non-recoverable expenses already incurred.
